A cave-in causes a release of methane gas that sparks two major explosions,  destroying 21 miners with 13 survivors rescued.

Henry and James are brothers. Henry is a devout Christian and James is a hard drinking, cursing, gambler on his off days.

It's now 10 years since that terrible mine explosion that destroyed those trapped miners including James who also died that day.

Tom Willis survived that disaster. He was with James as he drew his last breath.

The mine is closed now. But Henry visits quiet often to reminisce about the day he begged his brother to get saved before it was too late.

James just laughed as usual and told his brother he would get saved when he was good and ready.

That faithful day Henry was getting off early to go to a doctors appointment. James and Henry were in a deep section of the mine. Henry had a feeling that this could be the last time he would have to witness to James. "James before I go up top to my doctor's appointment I want you to please trust Jesus as your Saviour!" Henry stop bugging me about this Jesus thing!  I've got a job to do, I'll talk to you later!" With that,  Henry sticks a small little red bible booklet in James coat pocket. "See ya later James" as he goes to the elevator car and rings the bell that signals his accent to the top. That would be the last time he ever saw his brother!
