CHAPTER 1: AWAKE

Blossom and Bloom swung in ease on the large wooden swing in Bloom's backyard. "Care for some tea?" Offered Blossom, but Bloom shook her head. "I'm not in the mood." As the swing swung carefully, the two best friends felt the breeze. They noticed their surroundings. The kettle. The fence. The plants. The petals. The books. And as they noticed all that, they felt the most important thing of all. They felt: awake.
CHAPTER 2: MARYGOLD SPRING

Soon enough, spring came by and the weather became more warm. But, maybe a bit too warm. It got so warm, that it was about thirty degrees out there! "Dear goodness! It's quite warm outside, isn't it Bloom?" Asked Blossom. Bloom closed the door. "I think we'll have to stay inside today: at least for a bit." Blossom frowned. "But you promised we'll scrapbook the lake in front of your home! What happened to our plans?" But, Bloom is a smart little cat. "I've think I've got an idea!" She smiled. "But first: we need our scrapbooks." The two cats then spent the entire rest of the day scrapbooking items in Bloom's little shed next to her backyard on comfy green pillows. And for lunch? Tea and cookies all the way! "Look what I scrapbooked, Bloom! It's gorgeous!" said an excited Blossom. "Woah! I wanna scrapbook that too!" And guess what it was? A lovely Marygold flower, in the middle of Bloom's backyard. In the middle of spring.
CHAPTER 3: JASMINE SPRING

The spring days went by, and the two best friends kept scrapbooking more and more, and that meant more tea! But one afternoon, Blossom looked back at Bloom and said: "Bloom? Can we go find some flowers? I'm getting bored of scrapbooking the same old ones." Bloom smiled. "I had a feeling you'll say that!!" She reached into her pink pockets, and showed to beautifully matched flowers. And the flowers were: Jasmines.
CHAPTER 4: GRASS IN THE WIND

Cherry blossoms were starting to fall, grass waving around. The two cats started getting bored of scrapbooking, and realized the outdoors were starting to cool down. So, they decided to run around Bloom's backyard, throw petals around and jump about. As Blossom jumped about on the petals, Bloom grabbed the cherry blossoms and tossed them onto her skin, the fresh flowers feeling nice. Sure, the grass felt tingly on their toes and the wind moved their dresses about, but the girls didn't mind.
CHAPTER 5: MORNINGS

"WOW! There are so many petals!" Laughed Blossom one sunny day when they were jumping on the cherry blossoms. "I know!" Giggled Bloom. But, the problem was, there were a bit too many. "Ouch!" Shrieked Bloom. "Oof!" Yelped Blossom. The petals were making the girls trip every time they ran! But on their fourth falls, the two girls remembered the day they felt awake. The mornings were gentle from than on, for the friends just noticed their surroundings in Bloom's backyard. Blossom found a plant she hadn't seen before, and Bloom saw some lovely new rocks. What nice mornings!
