Chicken RunWhat Really Happens When Chickens Run Their Affairs

There were once two Roosters, Benedict and Poachey.

Since the hens eggs were going to hatch soon, Poachey Said,

I'm going to buy stock in seed!Because he knew there would soon be lots of little chickens to feed.

And I'll buy stock in hay!But Benedict didn't realize, baby chickens don't eat hay.

And when all the eggs finally hatched....

Poachey was rich! But, oh no! What about Benedict?

Cock-a-doodle WOOH!

Well, since baby chicks eat seed and not hay, Benedict lost money.

This made Benedict very sad.

But then Benedict remembered.....

!

Horses eat hay! He could make money off his stock too!

Time to do the chicken dance!And so Benedict was a happy rooster.

Why Poachey Invested:In this imaginary world, you can make
a great deal of money off of chicken feed.
Poachey Realized this, and he made the
investment. In return he got lots of
chicken money, and made a sound
investment in crowing lessons in his
spare time.

Why Benedict Invested:Truthfully, because Poachey did. He
didn't want to seem cheap. Only he didn't
want to seem like a copycat either, so
he chose to invest in hay instead. Chicks
eat hay, right? Wrong. In the end, though,
he got money in return from the demand
of hay going up due to the horses. And
what was his return? A crowning sense
of accomplishment, that's what.
