Hi! My name is Patty. I just 

picked some pumpkins from 

the pumpkin patch. Do you 

know how pumpkins grow?

A pumpkin starts

as a seed planted

in the soil. 

With sun and 

water, the seed 

grows into a 

sprout.

The sprout will

                grow a vine. 

The vine will    

   bloom a    

      flower.

The flower will grow into a 

                      green 

                        pumpkin.

With more sun and

water, the green

pumpkin will turn

to an orange

pumpkin.
