BOOM! "Oh no! an explosion, what will we 

do" said Reddy, the red crayon."We have 

to help the new package of crayons 

because now they now come in different 

colors" said Greenie, the green crayon.   All 

the crayons had to do something. What 

would they do?

They couldn't reach the machine nor the stop 

button, as they were all short. The miniature 

crayons would need to gather all the other 

crayons they had in the factory but how 

would they do that? Maybe the powerful 

crayons could grab some color pencils from 

their packages so they could reach the 

machine and press the stop button. That way, 

they could stop the   messy,colorful, gigantic 

explosion that just happened.

They all walked over to the colored pencil's 

packages. But on their way, they met their 

scariest,meanest, enemy of all time. The one and 

only, the one who could erase them all in one 

swipe...

The big and pink and huge ERASER!!! 

The only way the little crayons could get past the 

big eraser was, if they could make the big eraser 

laugh and the only way that they could do that is, if 

they tickle his humongous belly. Could they do that? 

"Guys, can we beat the big Eraser?" asked 

Reddy, the red crayon. "Probably not, because 

he is too tall. So we need another plan" said, 

Olly, the orange crayon. "May be we could tell 

him a joke" replied Greenie, the green crayon." 

Yeah! Good job! Greenie" agreed all the 

crayons.

Then Yuri, the yellow crayon yelled "I can 

tell the big eraser a joke." "How about we 

bring the extraordinary and super special 

Laugh-o-meter to see how much he laughs" 

said Olly, the orange crayon. "Crayons, do 

you think we can make the big eraser 

laugh?" asked Greenie, the green 

crayon."Yes" they all replied vehemently.

"Hey guys I know a good joke but it is a knock, 

knock joke" replied Yuri, the yellow crayon."Ok. 

go ahead" said Greenie, the green crayon 

reluctantly. Yuri, the yellow crayon walked up to 

the eraser and screamed so the eraser could 

hear her. The eraser said what are you doing 

here. "We are just here to talk. Can I tell you a 

joke" said Yuri. "OK, OK" complained the big 

eraser.Yuri yelled hesitantly "Knock Knock!", 

"Who's There?" "Dewey." "Dewey who?" "Dewey 

have to keep on telling silly jokes" said Yuri.

All the crayons laughed but, was the 

eraser going to laugh? 

When the crayons stared at the big eraser 

he smirked a little but the Laugh-o-meter 

started to raise but it was still low. Greenie 

said "Let's tell him another joke".

"I know!, I know a joke!" yelled Olly. "Fine you 

can tell the joke but, make the eraser laugh" 

said Greenie."Can I tell you another joke?" 

screamed Olly. " It has to be funny though" 

grunted the big eraser. Olly started with 

"knock, knock!" "Who's there?" "Cash" "Cash 

who?" "I knew you were a nut." The Laugh-o-

meter raised up and then down a bit, but then, 

the Laugh-o-meter raised up all the way. The 

eraser was laughing so hard that he fell down 

rolling on the floor laughing.
