This is based on the true story of how Bubbles the
rabbit found his forever home.

There once was a woman named Ms. Hinds. She lived on
an island in the state of Hawaii. She enjoyed living there.

The weather was warm, the scenery was beautiful,
and there were many things to do.

The beach was one of Ms. Hinds favorite places.
She liked to swim in the ocean, it was cool and refreshing.

She also enjoyed seeing the amazing sunsets and rainbows.

Ms. Hinds had studied and worked
hard for many years to become an
elementary teacher.
She loved teaching, and she looked
forward to going to school each day.
She was excited to see what the new
day would bring.

One day, when Ms. Hinds went to school, she saw another
teacher who taught in the same hallway.
The teacher said, "Ms. Hinds, when you have time, stop by
my classroom and see what new addition we have in our
room".
Ms. Hinds was very curious to see what it could be, so at
the end of the school day, she went to look.

When she entered the classroom, she saw a wire cage
that held the most beautiful white rabbit.
The rabbit had the prettiest eyes, and they looked at her
as if to say, "Hello".
The teacher told Ms. Hinds that the rabbits name was
Bubbles, and then she told Ms. Hinds the story of how
Bubbles had come to her classroom.

One of her students had received Bubbles as a gift, but was
unable to keep him, because they were moving.
The student had asked the teacher if Bubbles could come to
school and be a classroom pet.
The teacher said yes, but just until the end of the school
year, and then they would have to find a home for Bubbles.
Ms. Hinds was happy to have met Bubbles, and sometimes
she would see him again when she went to the teachers
classroom.
