With 3 volcanoes, it's sure to generate some heat!
Soppressata, Calabrese, many a spicy meat,
Cool off with some gelato, a most delicious treat,
Say ciao for hello and ciao for goodbye,
A generous two kisses when greeting a guy,
And if at some point, you're unsure what to say,
Just talk with your hands, the Italian way!

Duomo Cathedral is where we must begin,
500 years in the making to cleanse man's sin,
Next up, along the famous canal we walk,
Watch the people and hear them talk,
The fashion capital has many places to shop,
Via della Spiga will definitely be a stop!
After you climb to the top of the Velasca tower,
Time for Apperitivo, Mommy's happy hour,
We then visit Teatro La Scalla, all adorned in gold,
Then the Castello Sforzeco over 600 years old!
STOP #1: MILAN

For the people here, modesty is the motto,
But that seldom applies to the milanese risotto!
The richest people in all of Italy combined,
Their fashion houses will rob you blind!
The most skyscrapers, and thickest coffee creams,
Milan is also home to the 2 best soccer teams,
Oh Milan, a lovely place to call home,
Next stop on our trip, we are off to Rome!
