Friend, a blind man can see that this world is in
a lot of trouble. This reminds me of and old si-fi movie "The day the earth stood still."Produced in 1951 it starred Michael Rennie and Patricia Neal.
The Day the Earth Stood Still (a.k.a. Farewell to the Master and Journey to the World) is a 1951 American science fiction film from 20th Century Fox, produced by Julian Blaustein and directed by Robert Wise. The film stars Michael Rennie, Patricia Neal, Hugh Marlowe, Sam Jaffe, Billy Gray, Frances Bavier and Lock Martin. The screenplay was written by Edmund H. North, based on the 1940 science fiction short story "Farewell to the Master" by Harry Bates, and the film score was composed by Bernard Herrmann.
Set in the Cold War during the early stages of the nuclear arms race, the film's storyline involves a humanoid alien visitor who comes to Earth, accompanied by a powerful robot, to deliver an important message that will affect the entire human race. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Of course, that was a fictional Hollywood production. I want readers to consider a more imminent danger that certainly involves us all! Somehow mankind refuses to acknowledge
what truth actually means. The complete embodiment of truth made himself known over two thousand years ago.

God in the flesh stood before his hypocritical accusers on trial in a mock kangaroo court.
Standing before the roman judge called Pontius
Pilate. He served under Emperor Tiberius.
John 18: verses 33-38
Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?
Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?
Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

My friend it would be a sad day for any of us if we stand before a judge who confess he doesn't know what truth is!

Now let's get to the bottom line. All of us will meet our maker when we exit this life from this present earth. JESUS came to this sin-sick fallen world to save sinners. Yeah, truth is, we are all sinners.
Lets check out our next page for the answer.
Now here is the major problem with many of us.
We have no final authority! If our truth is not based on the word of God, our conclusions about
eternity are false. Our ideas about morality and reality will be false. So here is the big question.
Suppose you are lying on a hospital bed, or in the middle of the road and your life is ebbing away. With your final breath, who will you call on before your eternal soul goes to it's just reward? Now consider how many folks exit life holding on to falsehoods! Without Jesus Christ, every soul is doomed and banished to to an eternal world of unrelenting flames.
