A day in the life of a reporter.

The reporter wakes up in the morning to start her day. She wakes up at 6 a.m. to get ready for work.

The reporter leaves her house and drives to her job in the city. She makes a few phone calls on the way to give her more time at work.

The reporter arrives at work and sits down at her desk. The first thing she does is check her email for any press releases or interesting news she could report on.

She goes to the upstairs portion of the newsroom to pitch her idea for her daily story. She discusses it with her co-workers and they approve the story. She listens to the rest of their pitches before getting back to work.

The reporter gets to work. She does research on her topic and starts to make a list of questions to ask her sources.

She gets on her phone and starts calling her sources. She asks her sources her questions, if there's any information they'd like to share and if they have any other contacts she could speak to. It's important for her to have three different sources for her story to run.
