Jesus' Appearance After The Resurrection

Mary and the three other women went to go see Jesus after his death, at his tomb. An angel appeared to them and said "Do not be afraid!" The angel told them Jesus is not here because he has risen from the dead. The angel told them to tell his brothers in Galilee about the news.

Jesus Appears To His Disciples

Jesus appears to his disciples and tells them, "Peace be with you." They were surprised and could not believe that it was Jesus alive. Jesus shows them his hands and feet and they were overjoyed. He tells them he will send them what his father promised.

Jesus came and granted the disciples peace. Then puts Thomas' finger on his side and his hands so he can believe everything he is saying. He blesses those who have not yet seen, but yet still believe.

Mary Magdalene was weeping outside of the tomb. Angels asked her why she was crying and she told them they have taken her Lord. She later saw Jesus and told her, "Stop holding onto me." Mary then announced to the disciples she has saw the Lord.
