It's August 1969 and Joey Jenkins has just gotten out of the military. He has done his time for uncle Sam and is hitch hiking home to Flatt Rock Tennessee.

Joey has just stuck out his thumb hitch hiking when a 60s model Corvette convertible pulls over and motions for Joey to get in.

"Where you headed soldier?"

"Thanks for stopping Mr. I'm going to Flatt Rock."

"Flatt Rock, that's about 30 miles ahead and right on my way to Nashville. This is your lucky day son, what's your name?"

"Joey Sir, and yours?"

"Just call me Buck, all my friends do!"

After traveling about 10 miles, and a load of small talk Joey wonders if he should try to witness to Buck about salvation. Buck tells Joey that he has just signed a multi-million dollar contract with a famous country music label in Nashville.

Joey decides not to waste anymore time. He clears his throat and begins. "Buck what would happen to you if you died tonight?"

"Tonight? Why Joey I would probably end up in the hottest part of a furnace!" Buck takes a pint of booze from under the seat and turns it up and swallows hard!

"ah..he says, "here have a drink Joey!"

Joey tells Buck that he doesn't drink!
