It has been said that there are over 60,000 species of trees in the world. All are important to the service of mankind. The word of God has trees mentioned about 295 times.

Genesis 2:9  And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

THE GARDEN OF EDEN

Genesis 2:17  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Adam and eve rebel, and swift judgement comes! They ate of the

tree that was off limits!

Genesis 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

God told Noah to build an ark!

Genesis 6: 14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

The Gopher wood trees played a big part in the survival for all those on board of the ark.

Exodus 12:7  And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

All the first born died who were not under the wooden

door post with the blood applied!

Numbers 21:9

And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Trees are used to make many kinds of products, especially poles and hundreds of other items!

Poison waters are made drinkable by a certain tree!

Exodus 15:25

 And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,
