For as long as she could remember, Bella had loved butterflies.

She liked to watch them flutter by as she played in the garden.

Bella decided that she wanted to learn more about butterflies.

She wanted to know where they lived, what they ate - she had so many questions.

She brought her nature book out into the garden so she could read all about the butterflies.

Bella read about how the insects start off as caterpillars, and go into a chrysalis for a little while, before they come out as a beautiful butterfly.

She read that they had four wings, which are often brightly coloured, and that each wing has a unique pattern.

After all her reading, Bella wanted to go out and catch some butterflies.

She made a list of all the places she could find them, and what they liked to eat.
