Dedicated to my wonderful teacher, Mrs Rouse.
Moral: Be grateful for what you have

Lucy has always had a fascination with mermaids.

Lucy has always wanted to grow up and be a mermaid.

“You cannot be a mermaid Lucy, you are just a little girl.” Her mother told her as she gave her goodnight kisses.

Lucy could not go to bed, she just wanted to continue thinking about mermaids.

So Lucy jumped and jumped on her bed until she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror.

“Woah that wasn’t me” Lucy says as she looked down at the scales on her legs.

In a blink of an eye her room was gone and she was under the sea with many other beautiful mermaids.

She was swimming for what felt like hours until they finally reached the bottom of the sea!

There was a party going on with all the crabs and fish and sharks!

Lucy was so excited about making all new friends, but she was so tired.
The mermaids showed her to her new room.

She laid down on her new bed of coral, she missed her old bed.
