This book is dedicated to pet store mice all around the world and children who experience bullying. It is a little known fact, but feeder mice are often from the same litters as the 'fancy mice' that have spots, dots, and stripes! The white/albino mice are supposedly 'ugly' so therefore they are chosen to be sold as snake food. I encourage anyone who is considering to get a pet mouse to rescue the little white feeder mice, and although they may not be as 'pretty' as the fancy mice, they are definitely no different in heart! Kids may sometimes feel as about what others say about them so it's good for them to learn that what they say doesn't really matter.

It was Pip’s first day of school. He was a happy little mouse, but he had one problem, he had white fur!

None of the other kids had white fur, they all had cool spots, dots, and stripes!

Pip sat in his tiny seat with a frown and whispered to himself, "Why am I so different? If only I had spots, dots, and stripes like everyone else!"

At recess, three little mice with spots, dots, and stripes came up to Pip and shoved him right into the ground! “Ow!” Pip squealed in pain, “Why did you shove me? I didn’t do anything to you!”

The three mice replied with a snicker, “Look down at your fur, you ugly mouse! You don’t have spots, dots, and stripes like us! If you don’t look fancy, you matter nothing to us!”
