A Simple machine is a type of machine which is made up of two or three parts and has a very simple and easy structure.

1.Inclined plane:

A plane surface kept at an angle is known as an inclined plane.

2.Screw:

Screw consists of a cylindrical shaft with helical grooves or ridges called threads around the outside.

3.Wedge:

Wedge consists of a sharp end that can be used to separate two objects or portions of an object, lift up an object, or hold an object in place.s

4.Wheel and axle:

The wheel and axle consists of a wheel attached to a smaller axle so that these two parts rotate together in which a force is transferred from one to the other.

5.Pulley:

A machine consisting of a wheel over which a rope is tied in such a way that at one end there is load and the other end is free. The load is pulled through this free end.
