Once upon a time it the city of Zootopia there lived a girl named Gabby. One day Gabby was hanging out with her best friend Isabelle. As they were shopping around Isabelle asked Gabby if she could buy her a expensive dress she wanted from the Khaki barn.

"I'm sorry Isabelle But I don't have enough money right now, I need my money for school supplies.

"Ok Gabby".

Then Isabelle said she needed to go home because she had to be home at a certain time.

"I thought you we're coming over to my place for a sleepover".

"I forgot my Aunt is coming over so my mom wants me home".

"Ok so I'll see you later".

"Yep see you later".

Gabby had a suspicion that her friend had left because she wouldn't buy her the dress, but she couldn't be sure. Since there wasn't anything left for Gabby to do, she decided to just go home.sure

When Gabby got home her mom was watching tv.

"Hi mom, I'm home".

"Hi honey, how was the mall, and where is Isabelle, I thought she was coming to sleep over"?

"The mall was fine and I need to talk to you about Isabelle".

"What do you need to talk to me about, honey"?

"When we were at the mall, Isabelle asked me to buy her an expensive dress she wanted, and when I told her I couldn't because I needed the money for school supplies, she said she had to go home because her Aunt was coming over and she couldn't sleep over".

"The thing is, I don't think her Aunt was coming over, I think she just said that because I wouldn't buy her the dress".

"This isn't the first time this has happened, it's happened before when I wouldn't buy her stuff, and I don't know what to do about the situation".

"I would drop her as a friend because if she is only friends with you for what she can get from you then she is not a real friend".

"Real friends don't need to be bought, real friends will be friends right to the end".

"I think your right mom, I'm going to call Isabelle and ask her to come over so we can talk".

"That's my girl, I'll be here if you need me".

"Thanks for the advice mom".

"So Gabby went to her room and called Isabelle".

"Hi Isabelle, it's Gabby do you think you would be able to come over real quick so we can talk"?

"Ok, I'll be right over".

Isabelle only agreed to come over, because she thought Gabby was going to apologize for not getting her the dress, and then take her to go get it. Little did she know that Gabby had something else planned.

Fifteen minutes later Isabelle arrived at Gabby's house.

"Hi Gabby, so what did you want to talk to me about"?

"I need to tell you that I don't like the way you have been behaving and if it doesn't stop, I don't think we can be friends anymore".

"What are you talking about"?

"You only hangout with me if I buy you things and when I can't you go home".

"Well of course, you are supposed to buy me things".

"Why am I supposed to buy you things"?

"Because that is what friends do, they buy each other things".

"How come you never buy me anything"?

"I would rather spend my money on myself".
