Jamie:
Today is the last day of school. I need to look mature, cool, and confident. I'm looking at my closet and nothing is jumping out at me. All my clothes are so babyish. I need something cool because my best friend and I really need a friendship do-over.
Jamie

Lately my friends have been acting really weird, like alien weird. Sometimes my "friends" are really nice to me and other times it feels like their a million miles away. Sometimes they pretend like they can't hear me or tease me for things I say or do. Anyways I want to figure this all out before summer break. I'll talk to Maya she's my best friend, right?
Jamie

As I walked up to the bus stop I wasn't ready to talk to Jamie. We stood there in awkward silence. Then we got on the bus and found our usual seats. I was wrong I really wasn't ready to talk to Jamie.
Maya

As we get on the bus Jamie starts to say something and then stops and then she starts again. I finally yell at her to stop being so dramatic and spit it out.
Maya

I know I've asked you this before but you,Celia, and Grace have been acting really weird lately? Is something wrong?
No.

Does Celia Hate me? Does Grace? Do you?
STOP IT ALREADY! THIS IS SO ANNOYING!
After first period I have science. Maya was acting a little nicer but I think she feels bad about this morning. In science our teacher tells us we can have free time. I turn around and Maya's talking to Lindsay. Okay, if Lindsay is Maya's new best friend now I'll talk to Anthony Randall. He catches me off guard.
Jamie

Are you okay?
Maya's acting weird.
Girls are confusing.
2 Hours Later
We had a meeting. It was about you. A couple days ago we listed the pros and cons of keeping you in the group.
Not to be mean but the cons kind of outweighed the pros.
Maya
Jamie
Just tell me who wants me out of the group and why?
All. We grew up Jamie you didn't.
I sat there aw struck. This couldn't be happening. I helped make the group. Just then Madame Zukosky (my French teacher) walked up to me. She asked me if I was okay. When I replied my voice broke on "yeah". Then came the tidal wave of tears. I proceeded to tell her about what happened. Finally, I stopped sobbing and Madam Zukosky offered that I could relax in her room and talk more if I would like too.
Jamie

As I walk into homeroom I feel horrible about what I did to Jaime. Celia said it was the right thing to do, but I'm not so sure about it.
Maya

Your the only one we trust M.

Now I feel a bit better.
Maya
Celia has been insulting Jamie throughout the whole field day. Honestly, I don't think it's funny anymore. I try to it play cool and not say anything about how bad I feel about what we did to her. Finally, I ask Celia if we can stop talking about her as she tells me to chill out. She ghosted me for the rest of the field day. I think I made the wrong decision to leave Jaime behind.

Hahahaha.
Its not funny anymore. We got Jamie out of the group we don't need to keep talking about her.
Oh, look the island of misfit toys. Jamie with fit right in with them.
About 15 minutes later I head to the pool to meet up with Celia and Grace. Turns out our spot is right by Jamie. Jamie is playing tag with her friends and I'm secretly jealous. Celia won't even go in the pool she just wants to lie there and be noticed.
Maya

I try to ignore Celia, Grace, and Maya and continue playing tag with the boys. Anthony starts chasing me and I bump into Celia. Celia's face turns as red as a cherry.
Jamie

Hey!
Sorry.
Please like you didn't do THAT on purpose.
I think that's all in your head.
Maya
I look up from laying on my towel and I see Celia swimming towards Jamie. Celia's hand is stretched out reaching for Jamies bikini strap. Without thinking I shout," LOOK OUT JAMIE!" In a split second Jamie splashes away from Celia. Then something happened that I will never forget.
I feel fingers brush my back as I feel a light tug on my swimsuit ties. I scramble out of the pool as I give Celia a piece of my mind.
"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING!" I scream.
Celia replies," I was just going to grab your leg to scare you. It was just a joke."
"That wasn't my leg," I reply, my voice colder than the pool.
"It was just to get even with you ~for bumping into me before. Now we're even. Don't be so dramatic Jamie." Celia snaps back.
I turn around and count to ten. I start to walk away, but then I turn around and crouch down so others can't hear what I'm saying.
Jamie
Jamie
"Why do you care so much, Cee*? " I ask.
"What?" She responds.
"You got Maya to cut me out. But, if you really want me out, you'd leave me alone. So why don't you? " I question.
She doesn't respond, so I walk away for real this time.

Maya
Suddenly I realize I made the wrong decision. "I'm going home," I tell Celia and Grace.
" Wait M your abandoning me?" Celia replies in shock.
" I'm not YOUR M," I snap back.
"This isn't about you it's about Jamie. So don't take it so personally." Celia responds
" Jamie is my best friend. So it's about both of us." I say.
