They were having a sleepover again. They were about to say goodbye when a strange truck drove into a driveway of the house in the middle of Sofia's house and Sydney's. "Hmmm, it says MOVING TRUCK." Sydney pointed out. "I wonder who is moving in?" said Sofia, running out to get a better look. The a red lamborghini drove beside the truck. "Wow, they must be rich to own a lamborghini and that house." Sydney said. "Yeah." Sofia agreed. "That house is the most expensive house on the block.". "Let's go out and greet them." Sofia said. They ran down the block to the new family. The dad said hello and introduced his son. Sofia fainted as soon as the dad revealed his son. "Not the hospital!" Sydney said. It was the boy who kicked a ball in Sofia's face in the last adventure. (Read "DIARY OF BFFS").

But she recovered quickly. Then they met Pelin, the boy's little sister. She was 5 days younger. Then Sofia's parents walked out to see what's all the fuss about. "This is Adam, my son." Adam's dad said. "Nice to meet you Adam." Sofia's mom said. WOOF! They all looked at the car. Pelin giggled and opened the car door. A gray husky jumped out of the car. "Awww!" Sydney said, patting the dog's head. "You will be great friends with my dog, Rowler.". "That's awesome! My dog's name is Howler, rhymes with your dog's name!" All girls squealed. Adam rolled his eyes and went inside to check out the new house. "Sorry about his behavior." His mom said. "He's unhappy to move away from our old house.". All girls rolled their eyes.

"Wanna be friends?" Sofia asked Pelin. "Sure! After all, we are neighbors!" Pelin said. "Let us show you around the neighborhood!" Sydney exclaimed. She ran to her house. Sofia and Pelin followed, and the parents talk about adult stuff. "This is my house, number 3184." She ran to another house. "This is Luka's house. He has a very grumpy dog." Then she ran to another. "Now this is Miss. Mary's house. She has two dogs.". She pointed to the other houses."This is Will's house, he has a small dog. Over there, is Miss. Vernier's house, she is very protective of her house, that's why she has three guard dogs. The last one is Mr. Berry's house. His dog always bark." Sydney said. "Wow, all the people on this street has dogs." Pelin said. "All except me." Sofia sniffed.

The next day, they went to the same school. They played the same games. They did the same lessons. They even ate the same food! They were in the same class! Pelin was in their table group! But today, Mrs. Hutchinson was away. There was a sub. The new teacher was named Mrs.Golding. "I will be filling in for your teacher for a week. Please take out your text books and turn to page 56." The class groaned and obeyed. "Who want's to get the worksheets from the lab's printer?". All hands went up. "I guess many people want to get out of the classroom." Sofia thought. Mrs. Golding picked a boy named Mark and a girl named Katie. They went. But they didn't come back. "Oh dear, they must have gotten sick and went home."."Strange" Sofia whispered. Sydney ( who was right beside her) nodded.

The next day, the teacher did the same thing. She would make the class do boring things, ask people to get things from the printer, and they would disappear. Then she would make excuses like: "Maybe they got lost in the school." or "Maybe they saw a butterfly outside and started chasing it.". It was the middle of December! Sofia planned a meeting with Sydney and Pelin in the cafeteria. "Something weird is going on." She said. "Our classmates are disappearing and the teacher is weird." Sofia said while waiting for her salad. (with extra dressing!) Sydney and Pelin both nodded. They grabbed their meals and headed off to a empty table, far away from the others. They talked more than they ate. "We need to do something about this." Sofia whispered.

So at recess, Sofia, Sydney and Pelin hid under their desks. "This is the first time I ever did something cool" Pelin whispered. "Yeah, this is my first time too." Sydney said. Creak. The girls looked to their right. Mrs.Golding came in. And behind her, was a tall man. They discussed something with each other. The girls couldn't hear what they were talking about, but they were sure it was an evil plan. "Maybe-psst- Oh yeah! No- psst, psst." They heard them giggle, just like girls. "We should tell the class." Sofia whispered. "No- they won't believe us. We should get more proof." Pelin said. "Yeah. If we tell the class right away, we will set the teacher off and she might do something bad." Sydney shivered at the thought.

After recess, the girls quickly went outside the classroom, and lined up like nothing happened. The teacher came from the staff room and looked at them for a moment, surprised. But then she walked in. "Phew, she didn't notice." Pelin said. When the whole class finally came and lined up, Mrs.Golding motioned the class in. "We are going to keep working on the decimal worksheets from yesterday. Write down notes from page 34 in your textbook. The notes should help you with the worksheet. After, we are going to watch a short video on photosynthesis for science. Afterwards, you are going answer some questions. Any questions?" The whole class shook their heads. Sydney slumped. Then Sydney saw found a small paper on the floor.

After class, Sydney spat out the news. Pelin and Sofia took the paper and they all looked at it. It read: " Mrs.Golding, this was a great plan. So great, in fact, I almost told Ad-" The rest was covered with a coffee stain. "Dang it, it could of showed us the answer to all of this." Sofia said. "All we know is someone who's name starts with A-D.". "I know! Let's get a list of people who's name start with A-D. Then we ask them if they seen anybody acting strange around them." Sydney said. "Yeah, just great. Let's just ASK all the people." Sofia snorted. "How are we going to remember all the peoples names and write them down? This school is very big." Pelin pointed out. "I think I have an idea." Sydney said.

Mrs.Golding, this was a great plan. So great, in fact, I almost told Adam. Oh he is going to be so surprised! The party is going to be a blast! Thanks for arranging the party. - Adam's Dad.

After school, the girls hid in their lockers till' the school light's turned off and the teachers left. They were prepared. Sofia wore a teacher's uniform. Sydney wore teacher pants. And Pelin balanced on two sticks with adult shoes at the end. They surely know that the outfit will fool the security. They walked unsteadily to the office. A guard came. The girls held their breath. The guard said good evening and left. "Phew." Sydney said, peeking through a hole in the shirt. They made it to the office. Pelin peeked trough the coat with a straw in her mouth. Then she expertly shot spitballs to the security cameras. She was a skilled archer. Sofia locked the door and the girls threw off the clothes. Sofia searched trough the papers until she found a list. "A-D" She read. They took the list and ran out.
