dear readers,
what I have learned from researching my advocate is that women should not be treated wrongly because they are not male. Females deserve to be treated with respect and as equals. Serena Williams fought for equal award money for women. what I want the readers to know is, people should fight for what they think is right and never be okay with being treated wrongly.

Serena Williams was born on September 26, 1981, in Saginaw, Michigan. She was the youngest of five girls. Although she was born in Michigan, she grew up in the dusty Los Angeles suburb of Compton. Her parents are Richard Williams and Oracene Price. Growing up with divorced parents was a struggle. Her dad began coaching her in tennis. The Williams family moved to Florida because Rick Macci offered to coach their daughters for free. By the end of 2000 her parents were no longer living together. Her parents officially divorced in 2002.
Serena Williams faced each other in an intense match at this year’s Wimbledon tournament, which ended in victory for younger sister Serena. Serena Williams hit a backhand at the 2015 Swedish Open, and had an elbow injury. Williams had to clear a few more hurdles in the final leg of her quest for a calendar Grand Slam. Williams was once a rising star. The 21-Slam winner is most vulnerable against those she's never played.
Williams made her first public mention of the need for Grand Slam events to award equal prize money to men and women back in 1998, after a first-round Wimbledon match. At the time, the U.S. The Open was the only Grand Slam tournament that awarded equal prize money to male and female champions. She didn't think it was fair that women have less prize money than men. The difference was only a few thousand British pounds, but the battle was all about the symbolic message it sent. She saw that women wouldnt get equal money even though men got more money than women. She wanted to change that, she took it to herself to get women the equal pay they deserve.
