Grandma: Okay. Lunch is over, and now, Story time!
Kid 1 and 2: Yayayayayayayay!!
Grandma: When Kate and Ann were still in the portal, they were walking in the forest, laughing.

What is black and white, and "red" all over?
What?
A newspaper! Get it? R-E-A-D?
Do another one!
Hum. What do you call a umm... bear with no teeth?
What?
A gummy bear! I am a gummy bear, I am a gummy bear, yes I'm a gummy, gummy, gummy, gummy, gummy bear!
Kate (laughing so hard)
Ann: Okay. On last one?
Kate: Shhhhhhhh!
(soft barking noice)
Ann (interupting the noice): What? I don't hear anything.
Kate: Shhhhh! Just be quiet for a few seconds.
(barking)
Ann: I hear it!
(barking)
Grandma: So, Kate and Ann ran toward that noice.
(barking)
Ann: Awwwwwwww! It's so cute.
Kate: Cute? It's STUCK! Is that cute?

Grandma: So, do you think that Kate and Ann rescued the dog? Or do you think they didn't save them?
Kid 1 and 2: Save it! Save the dog!
Grandma: Yes, you are correct. Now, how did they help the dog? Let's find out!
Ann: Why don't we get some vines, and pull it out?
Kate: Ehhh. I don't know. (After a long pause) Oh! Of course! I have a brilliant idea.
Grandma: They quickly went to that town (or how they called it, "Portal poor Town"), and got the things they needed.
Ann: That is a brilliant idea!
Grandma: They got the cardboard boxes they used from the lemonade stand.

Ann: Three, two, one, pull!
Kate: Well, that didn't work.
Ann: One more time!
Ann and Kate: Three, two, one, pull!
Grandma: They pulled with all of their strength, and managed to pull the dog out.
Ann and Kate: Yayayayayayayayayayay!
Grandma: They wanted to keep it and then they saw....
Ann: Look at this! (pointing to the dog's neak)
Kate: What? There's nothing there!
Ann: Which means.....
Kate: (excited) We get to keep her! (softer) Or him.
Ann & Kate: Yayayayayayayayayayayayay!

What should we name her?
We don't know if it's a girl!
Oh, it's definitely a girl!
Well, okay! I have a grrrrrreat name!
What?
Emily!
Bark, bark?
Perfect!
