The Mystery of the New Girl

It was a great school day when Mrs. Granger, told the class that there was a new girl moving into Nashville, TN. She was going to be in the class. "She will be here tomorrow afternoon while we are eating lunch. Any questions?" Amelia raised her hand. "What is her name?" "I believe her name is Mia Alive." "Okay. I just wanted to know.

Chapter 1: The New Girl

The following day at lunch, Mia came into the classroom. "Whoa! This is so cool! I love your classroom Mrs. erm..... What's your name again?" "Mrs. Granger." "Mrs. Granger. And where will I be sitting?" "I haven't figured it out yet." It was quiet for the moment when Mrs. Granger relizied she needed to get her class. "I need to go pick up the class at lunch. You can stay here with your parents, and make yourself cozy.

Mrs. Granger quickly picked her class up, and Mia meet everyone. "Hello." She said after every student. "Nice to meet you. My name is Mia Alive"

Later that day, Katie, Amelia, and Samantha, met up at Katie's house. "I really liked her. She had a very nice accent." Samantha said. "I don't know." Katie said. She got her crutches and walked to her living room.

"I think we need Seria for this one." Katie said. "My nose was twitching." Whenever Katie's nose twitches, it means something is not right. "Are you sure?" Amelia asked. "I really think that she could be a member of the Spy Girls. "Whatever. But I know something is wrong."

Chapter 2: The Breakup

The next day of school, Katie noticed that Mia was acting very nicely. She made a lot of new friends that day. When Katie saw Seria, she was talking to Mia.

"So, what's your

address?" Seria asked

Mia. "Um. 123 Lay Way,

Nashvillie, TN." Seria

"Hey? What is going on here?" Katie asked the two girls. "Umm. Excuse you." Mia said. "Oh, sorry!" Katie said. She relizied that she iterupted them. "Is it okay if I speak to Seria?" "Oh, yea sure!" Mia said. "What are you doing?" Katie whispered. "Talking to the new girl! Hello!?" Seria said. She held her 

necklace. The BFF necklace, that is. 

"Okay, fine. My nose twitched and-"

Katie stopped because of Seria's 

look on her face. "Whenever my 

nose twitches, it means something 

is not right." 

"Oh, okay." Seria said. "But why can't I just hang out with her?" Katie sighed. "If you want to. But as your friend, I want to keep you safe. So what will it be? Hanging out with Mia or me?" Seria thought. Then she decided. "Mia." she said, and walked away. Katie was about to cry. She couldn't believe her friend betrated her. "Well," she said to herself. " I guess it's just me, Samantha, and Amelia and Seria- I can't even say it!" She started crying. She looked back at Seria one last time and saw Mia and Seria laughing. Samantha and Amelia saw Katie. "What's wrong?" Samantha asked

 "I'm not friends with Seria anymore!" Samantha and Amelia gasped. "What happened?" Amelia asked. "She choose Mia over me." Katie said. "Hmm." Katie thought for a moment as she walked in circles. "Wait! Do you guys have a sheet of paper?" "Yes!" Amelia said. "Infact, I always keep a piece of paper in handy." Amelia pulled a piece of paper out from her pocket. "And a-" Katie said. "A pencil? Yep! I have a pencil, too!" Katie wrote something on the paper. "An address?" Samantha asked. "Not just an address. The address."

"Who's?" Samantha and Amelia asked. "Mia's house." Katie answered with a grin. "And we're going there!"

Chapter 3: The Mission

After school, the 3 friends asked their parents if they could go to Mia's house. Katie called them and asked if their parents would let them. "Can you go?" Katie asked Samantha on the phone. "Yes," she said. "In fact, I'm coming right now! See you then!" Then, Katie called Amelia. "No," she said to her friend. "My parents wouldn't let me come to an unknown place. Sorry." So, it was just Samantha and Katie.

When the two friends came to her house, they were AMAZED! Her house was yellow, 2 story floors, and a cool door. It was bigger than the other houses. "Okay, listen closely. We are going to knock, then hide, then someone will open the door. When she or he opens the door, we sneak in behind. Good?" Katie asked. "Good." Samantha said. Their plan worked perfectly. But when they went in, music was playing, and there was a party. Even Seria was there. They quickly ran into the bathroom. "So, what are we doing here exactly?" Samantha asked. "Umm. Because-" Knock!

"Hello?" cried the familiar voice of Seria. "Anybody in here?" "Yes!" Katie said from the door. "Katie? Is that you?" No answer. Seria opened the door and no one was there. Seria shrugged and went to the bathroom. Katie and Samantha exited to he other door on the side of the door. "Phew!" Katie said. "That was clos-" "I don't remember inviting you guys to the party." Mia said. Embarrassed, the two friends walked outside the house. They walked back to their houses. "Was it just me or did I see Amelia there?" Samantha said. "Amelia? That was just you." 

"Well," Samantha said. "Our plan failed. Failed! What was our plan anyway?" "Accually," Katie said. "You know how I ordered the spy cameras? I put one in the-" "Please don't tell me you put one in the bathroom!" "Oh, no! I didn't. I put one in the living room. Let's look." Katie pulled out her phone. She pressed an app that looked like a camera. Right when she            pressed the button, they saw the party. 

          They saw so many girls talking to each               other. That's when they saw Amelia. She was talking to Mia and laughing. Just like Seria did  hours eariler. "You were, right,

Sam!" Katie cried as she saw her friend having a good time. "What is she doing there? I thought she said she couldn't go to strange houses! I'm going to go-"
   "NO, Katie!" Samantha said. "I know you are disappointed, but just chill! We'll figure this out later."
    "I don't have time for 'later'! I am going in there, no matter what!" Before Samantha could stop her, Katie went back to the house.  

Chapter 4: The Secret

   I can't believe Amelia did this to us! Katie thought to herself. She ran into the house, this time, more careful. Then she saw her friend.
   "Amelia, we need to tal-" she started. "NO! What are you doing here? How did you know I was here?" Amelia said crossly. "I just, we just, I mean, I, we..." Katie sighed. "How could you do this to Samantha and I? We're your friends and you lied to us? How could you?"   

   "Just get away, just go!" She ran and got Mia. Oh, no! What's going to happen to me? Katie was frightened. 
  "Let me take you to a secret place to hide," Katie just barely managed to hear Mia whisper to Amelia. Then, they we off. Katie froze. "What are you doing? Aren't you going to go after them?" Samantha put her hand on her friend's shoulder.
   "I just don't know what to do!" Katie fought back tears. "C'mon. Your always the positive one! What should we do, leader?" Katie smiled at that thought. Then she breathed in and 

out slowly. "We," she said. "are going to follow them!" Katie grabbed Samantha's hand and lead her through the mob of people. "Where'd they go?" Katie asked. 
   "Maybe this room?" Samantha asked. "Hey," she suddenly asked a random person. "did you see Mia at all?" The person turned his head. "Not that I know off." he said. Samantha sighed. "Well, thanks anyway."
   "Let's go back and check the cameras." Katie said. She stopped looking around and turned to her friend. "Maybe we can see where she went!"
   "Good thinking!" The two girls went back 

outside the house to look at the cameras. 
   "I don't believe it!" Katie exclaimed after she watched the video. "What?" Samantha asked coming over. Katie replayed the video. They saw Mia and Amelia. They were in front of a mirror in what looked like Mia's room. Then, Mia was looking around to make sure no one noticed and opened the mirror. Samantha gasped. "Keep watching," Katie whispered. The mirror was like a door. Amelia was shocked as well, but the two of them went in and disappeared behind the mirror. 
   "A secret mirror!" Samantha shouted. "Now that is very clever!

   "Yes," Katie said. "indeed! I knew something was up! I just knew it! Let's go and find out what secrets are in there!"
   "But Katie! We've been over this," Samantha said. "What if Mia sees us again?"
   Katie scratched her head. "I keep on forgeting, don't I?" she asked. "I don't know what to do!"
   Samantha had an idea. "I know!" she cried. "I know!" 

Chapter 5: Tiny Mission

   "Yes, ma'am. That will be about forty dollars," Samantha said in a deep voice. She was disguised as a delivery man and she was talking to Mia at the front door. Meanwhile,  Katie was the helper of the "delivery man." 
  "Forty dollars? Are you crazy?" Mia asked. Samantha nodded. "Do you want this or not?" she spoke. Mia sighed. "Oh, whatever!" She pulled out her wallet and counted dollar bills. Fortunately, Samantha an ID card that was
