Once a winged nymph dressed in Gossamer, with gold tipped feathers aglow, lived in the land of Ossipher. Her eyes of hazel green were known to mesmerize the deer, owl, fox, wolves and bear whenever they were near. There grazing lands were filled with lakes to cool the thirst of all. There PerCheshmaye built her small abode. Though narrow it was tall.

From all degrees her view at top, a hundred miles wide, so oft she'd sit upon the roof, her dream dog at her side. PerCheshmaye viewed this land as hers. She feared no beast or elf. She made it known her heart was BIG; embracing them with stealth. Her Mother Angel'd taught her the herbs to make her strong; to heal the sick and shelter the beasts she helped along.

PerCheshmaye wrapped her body according to the weather. In winter FURS adorned her sides. In summer only tethers. Her long dark hair she bound in braids; so fashioned like a crown about her head in morning dew, with strands that tumbled down. A thousand times she counted the shorebirds at Chaplin Lake. Many Grackles spited her good fortune as she'd take their eggs to forage for dinners and shrimp brine to provide a hearty salad dressing she 'd share with Hounds; her pride !

PerCheshmaye wrapped her body according to the weather.
In winter furs adorned her sides,
In Summers only tethers.

The neighboring camps were wary of her might
As She did not believe their tales of fortitude or strife.PerCheshmaye was a maiden of virtue and of myth to those who came from far beyond
To test her arrow and scythe.

PerCheshmaye was a maiden of virtue and of myth to those who came from far beyond to test her arrows and scythe. The many corridors of lakes drew down the prairie geese; where her hound and "Perch" in waiting, ventured softly" 'neath the trees.

The rushes whispered
The rushes whispered gently to PerChesshmaye on most days; the secrets of "THE GOOD LIFE" and all its' steadfast ways.

So as she grew to know them, their secrets formed her base for all she wrought and made by loom, as she sat beneath her old friend Moon, and sang unto his face. The coyotes howled longingly to BE her hounds and bayed across Vermillion Hills just north of the dunes; whining for their loss. Big Mika and siblings were hounds She knew 'd obey. "Perch" would sometimes breed them with a wolf who'd hunt for prey.
