It was a late saturday night in my house. I was about 10 or 11 and it was 2018. My whole family was bored and we had no idea of what to do. Me and my sister and dad were in the T.V. room. Finally my dad decided to shut all the blinds and turn all the lights off. Me and my sister did not know what he was doing and we asked him. “You’ll see,” he said. Finally he turned off the last light in the room with a “CLICK”. “GRRRRRR” he said. And we screamed and ran.

Me and my sister both ran in opposite directions. She went to the kitchen and I went to the living room. I hurried and hid behind the couch while my sister hid behind the table. “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHH!!!!!!!” my sister screamed. She bolted right past my hiding spot and tried to hide in the kitchen again. My dad came really close to me and you could hear his breath.”mmph,aaahhh.””BOO!” “AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!” I screamed. I bolted to the door but my dad hurried and grabbed me and pulled me back tickling me like crazy. My sister hurried and ran for me trying to pull me away from my dad.

She was doing her very best but my dad was slowly reeling me in really closely. She did one final pull as I tried my best to squirm away from him. I got away and we both ran. I hid on the basement stairs in a spot where you had to open a door to see me. Also, the downstairs was out of bounds so I couldn't run. Then I started to feel very uncomfortable. Something was definitely not normal. Then I finally realized what that something was that was bugging me. There was no sound. No screams, breathing, opening of doors, or even growling. “FOUND YOU!” my dad said. “AAHHH” I screamed. Somehow he had snuck up on me without me realizing it. He was blocking the doorway and I was trapped on the stairs. “HAHAHAHAHA!!” he growled.

ROAR!!!!!

I ran for it. I ran as fast as I could straight at my dad. It was so unexpected my dad just stood there. Then he regained focus and went to grab and I dived through his legs. Me and my sister were so focused and in sync. And at the right moment right when my dad turned around she punched him right in the stomach. He groaned and me and my sister frantically went around trying to turn on all the lights. Finally my dad walked in the living room where me and my sister were turning on the lights. We both pulled out our swords in perfect sync like professional ninja.
