We were getting ready to leave for a day of shopping when our mom brought in one of our new chicks. This chick had been sick for a little bit and we where concerned for its health. Next thing we know, our mom is telling us we were going to take the chick with us!

We are bringing a chick shopping!

   My sister, Dad, and I begged my mom to leave it at home. We told her it might die and that we could get kicked out of stores if we were caught! But my mom was set on bringing the chick with us.

Don't take it, mommy!

   Our first stop was Chick- fil- A! What an insult to our little tag along! As we were waiting for our food my mom put the chick on a napkin to eat and drink. I was humiliated and of course scared that we would get in trouble! The chick was almost caught as our waiter brought our food to the table.

   The whole day I was a wreck. I was scared and humiliated. We were also shopping for my least favorite thing. A dress. I was rude and acting like a baby, because of everything going on.
