Arabian

The Arabian horse breed is one of the oldest breeds. They can come in many different colors such as Bay,Black,Chestnut,or gray.

There are two names for a paint horse depending on there color format. A horse that has more white than it does the other color it is called a Pinto horse if it has more of the other color than white it is called a Tobiano horse.

Thoroughbred

This breed is the fastest breed of horse. These horses are used for racing so there are many thoroughbreds the come from the same family. If you have heard about the Kentucky Derby most likely you have, these horses are usually the ones racing.

                                    Ponies

    Ponies are small horses, but not every small horse is a pony. No, these stay small all their life. Most of the time ponies will have thicker manes and tails than horses. 

                    Tennessee Walking Horse

    This horse is the first horse to receive a state name. There three smooth gaits are flat-foot walk,running walk, and canter. They can weigh up to 90-1,200lbs!
