Chapter 1: Gold Medal Hero

Miles' POV: Finally! After a week of saving up, I can play the new game, Super Star Deluxe! It's more of downloadable content, but I had to get the base game for 30 dollars online. Now I can play multiplayer with my...oop, they're here!            My cousin Neon and some of my power friends.

Power friends are stronger than best friends. Here's Kai, Burn, and Cosmic. My dog, Milo, finally leaves me alone as the game finishes downloading. The Play Pak console is charged, and so are the controllers. The title is shown, we're sitting on the couch, and we start to play.        Soon enough, we're in the game: Literally.

I don't get it. One minute, I press start, and now we're in a place with ones and zeros.

"Where are we?" Cosmic says, looking worried. He's the youngest, 10 years old, about my sister's age.                                                                   Valid Question. And my answer, not so much...                  

 Kai stared at something I could barely see. "Hello Miles and friends. I can see you entered my hack. "What? "As you can see, you are in the tutorial now. You have 50 minutes to finish 1 mode. You must do 4 modes within 200 minutes. If you succeed, you get this game with no bugs, along with all the other ones you buy. If you fail...that's it." 

    "Well then, we best get going!" I yell, and the race against time begins.                                            Cosmic's POV: It's already been an insane day. I'm Cosmic, a kid who is an Energy Master in training. It's hard to explain, so I'll tell you another time. My friends and I are just about to choose the first mode. "We should do Olympics Mode," I suggest.

    I press the button. Soon we're skateboarding in a shiny city. We try to get as many points as possible by doing tricks and flips. On one of my moves in the park, I went so high I felt as if I was in slow motion. I saw tall skyscrapers. But beyond the buildings, I saw a world of nature. So real, yet so fake. Then I head back down to the game world.

    We just hit the expectation for the amount of points, and head to the next event. I wondered what was up next,considering there are four events. Then we got to boxing. The thing is though, it's more like real combat and not jabs. So the first thing I can do is shoot an energy blast at my rival. But this guy is tough...He dodges my blows and attacks with his fists.

    Not to mention, he is really good at blocking my attacks. I was pretty sure that this was a CPU, but it's too real. Are we facing off real people? The thought echoed in my head as I finally make a powerful blow, just enough to take him down.                                                                    Neon's POV: Hi there! I'm Neon, Miles' cousin. I'm 13, but I don't live a normal life.

    So when I get sucked into a video game, it's practically normal for me. Enough about me for now. As we completed boxing, our final event is...the 100 meter dash. Easy for us. I mean come on! We're ninjas, heroes, and more! That was my first thought. But things change.                  When we head for the track, I realized something.

    This game was made by mad scientist Magnus. He basically is power hungry for Miles' powers, and now he has some of them. So that means all sorts of horrible things. But I think it's too late. A few minutes after, the race has started. Miles is already in first,with me and the guys close behind. Trip. I saw the single most expected thing ever.

"OH SHOOT!" He yells, while losing his balance. Miles,at top speed, just got pushed over by the CPU. Before you know it, he started tumbling. That's when Cosmic did his magic. He blasted forward, grabbing Miles and throwing Miles up into the air. For a moment, I think Miles is about to die. But he lands perfectly,and he and Cosmic are neck and neck in the race. We won!

                                Chapter 2

        Lights, Camera, Action Adventure!                Kai's POV: We ended up in a new mode, and I realized that it's time for one of the best types of games! 2D action adventure platformers!            You think we would have loved this. We would, if we could play using a controller. Instead, our lives at risk. But, hey, we are the Trio so we're used to it.

    The game gives us special moves, like mine being a power to jump so high, when I land, there's a huge shock wave. Level 1 starts, but I have to do it alone. I'm pretty sure I'll see my friends right after this. " AGH! Man, can't be planned out!" Miles says, seeming to fall of a plane. When has he not... 

   Monsters surround us. Miles grabs a power up, and he's lucky to grab a power shield. Meanwhile, I'm knocking all of these creatures' off the ground, with Miles following up with a energy blast. Most of them are gone. And then I see it; the portal to the next level. "Miles. Look. The portal's over there. Do you see any land?"
