Chapter 1: It's a Snow Day!

                                        Miles

    "Miles, wake up! Wake up! It's snowing!" "Shut it... wait, what!?" I jump out of bed, seeing Rose and Dash throwing on gloves and jackets. "Good morning my favorite little siblings!" "We're your only siblings. Good morning." Rose actually has enough time to give me a weird glare before she leaves my room. I throw on my coat, my new winter boots are on, and my gloves are on.

   It's time for the the Ultimate Snowdown. Every time it snows for the first time, every kid goes outside on to be on either two teams. My team, or Team Ultimate...which would be a good name if they actually won. The Superstars is pretty much the winning team, since who knows when at this point. But as soon as I open the door, I see a problem. Little Town is being attacked, again. "Who's gonna do it this time!?" I shout on the top my lungs to see my pals come outside. "Not it." Everyone except me says. "You're all lazy. Just don't start without me.

  "Fine, I'll go too. But just don't let me go up front today," Kiara says, throwing on her gloves. We run off to the park, where Magnus is ruining the view. It's a winter wonderland, with tons of Christmas lights, and a whole bunch of trees. The snow is almost blinding white, and a cool breeze surrounds me. I shiver at the thought that people could easily ruin this. For example..."Miles! Would you look at that? Could you let me enjoy my holiday? I need to burn some trees, maybe some snow," Magnus says, with a dark look on his face.

     "Try holiday shopping. Or maybe, not do this at the least." Kiara just smirks, and Magnus does the same. "You little-" I run up to him and jump on to his mini air craft. "Why do you always use thin glass? Let me just break it, hold up." I kick the mini mobile, sending it hurdling. "The perks of having superpowers, am I right?" Kiara fist bumps me, before missiles come flying toward us. "Look out!" They hit a very high tree and it looks like it's about to fall on us. "Shoot..."

    I push Kiara out of the way, and use my powers to make a little energy shield to protect myself, but it's pretty clear it won't last. I just barely dodge the land, and a cloud of snow makes me unable to see. "Miles, you ok?" Kiara runs over, her eyes blazing. She seems worried, but angry, probably cause Magnus got away. "Did we just...lose?" For a second I feel like telling the truth, since she knows the truth, but me being me, I go with,"No. He ran away before we were even done. We'll be fine."

    An awkward silence looms over, but when we turn around to head to the Snowdown, the tree that had fell... was gone. Into thin air. "Maybe next time we should step up our game. Now come on, we got to go!"            

                                    Dash

What's taking them so long? They should have defeated Magnus 10 minutes ago! "Sorry we're late! Magnus gave us a little trouble," Miles mumbles. "Why are you acting like that? And if you had 'a little trouble' then why'd it take you so long! You didn't lose, did you?" Miles' best friend Cosmic asks, crossing his arms.

    Just silence. "Whatever, we'll deal with this later. You both ready to beat Luke?" They nod their heads, and the Ultimate Snowdown begins. This isn't a normal snowball fight, it's a full out war. And we're gonna win. There are hundreds of snow balls on the other team's side, but Miles has a little trick up his sleeve. He goes up to Team Ultimate's side. "Well if it isn't Miles. Ready to lose?" "Funny you should be saying that, Lucas." Miles pulls out his phone, and starts watching a video of last year's Snowdown.

     "FIRE!" Somehow, Miles runs away gracefully, just barely dodging the incoming snowballs. While he's doing that, we're making snowballs, snow forts for shelter, and snow walls. A crowd starts to form, and Miles comes back to base. "Ok, things aren't looking too good. But the bright side is, we made shelter and some snow balls." "Good. Did Cora come out yet?" Cora is Miles' twin, aka the cooler older sibling. (Seriously, Rose and I agreed as soon as we brought it up.) "No, she hasn't." "Ok, not good.  We can handle this though. Cosmic, Lily, Jay! Get up here with 24 snowballs each!"

    "Why me..." "Lily, don't try me. I saw you in that snowball fight last year." They run back to the war, with 12 kids from each side throwing at each other. I go up to help, but it's worse than I thought;especially when I see the foam arrow. It's covered with ice, meaning any team could use it. (And soft!) I hear a faint whistling sound, like something crashing down to Earth, very quickly. I run as fast as I can, knowing where that sound is heading to. Catch IT! I propel myself into the air, but I'm too high. The arrow slams into the wall, landing on me and most of the others.

    "HEY!" A girl starts running forward quickly. It's Cora. All of a sudden a crowd erupts, with 25 kids from the other team quitting after being hit with 35 snowballs. "What took you so long?" "Overslept. You couldn't wake me up? Seriously?" "And the winners are: Team Superstars! Again." Ugh, I'm really starting to hate the sound of that. Winning over and over stops the thrill of winning. "Miles, what's that on you?" What is that? 

                        Chapter 2:  Ho Ho Ho!

                                     Neon   

    Whoa, where are we,and why is it so cold? I look around to see Miles, Dash, Rose, and Cora falling out of the sky. "Ugh, where are we?" Dash brushes off snow, but the snow doesn't stop falling. Must be even more North, maybe Norway or something? "Maybe we're in the North Pole?" I turn to Rose, who's beginning to sound crazy. "Of course not. Why would we be in the North Pole, we would of already been frozen." "So how did we get here?"

    "OK, before this becomes a problem, why don't we get back home?" Miles tries to use his energy ability to make a portal, but fails. "Weird. That should work." "Maybe you didn't get your energy levels up?" So, for people that have energy abilities have to do parkour everyday to get more levels of energy, which we did. "He did. For an hour and a half." "Yeah, I'm not lying, it says here I should be on Energy 25, which should let me make a portal."                           

    He shows us his Power Band, proving everything he said was true. "So why can't you get us back home?" "Because you can't." A deep voice says. "Miles, Cora, Neon, Rose and Dash! I need your help." Who is that and how do they know our names? "Now, this is going to sound weird; or ridiculous for that matter. I'm Kris Kringle, or Father Christmas, or Saint Nick, but you know me as..." "Sorry, doesn't ring a bell." "Yeah, kind of, but not exactly." "Rose, Cora, you're about to be on the naughty list. It's me, Santa Claus!" 

    A man appears out of nowhere, a big man for that matter. "I thought you were supposed to be...bigger." "Cartoons add 90 pounds, Dash." "So how come we're in the North Pole?" "OK, since you all love movies, 90 percent of the time, why does Christmas go wrong?" "Because something goes horribly bad, delaying the time you get across the world." "Very good Neon. And here's why you're here. I'm assigning you to help me with things." "Like a test? Cause you know I struggle with social studies." Santa shoots a look at Rose, but carries on.
