a nice grandma.

One day a girl name Lisa was enjoying her first day of summer
vacation. School was out and she didn't have to worry about tests,
homework, or waking up early to go to school. Her Grandma Rose
called her on the phone while she was sitting near the swimming
pool. She asked Lisa if she would like to go on a vacation with her for
a few weeks. Her sister Jewel could go too. "Wow," shouted Lisa, "I
would love to go on vacation with you Grandma Rose." She had a lot
of packing to do.

Lisa packed up her stuff in a suitcase and so did her sister.
The next day their grandma came to their house to pick them
up. They were so excited and happy at the same time. They
couldn't wait to set out on their adventure. Their mom hugged
them and said "Goodbye" to them. Lisa had a big smile on her
face. She knew that she was one lucky kid to go on a vacation
with her grandma.

After Lisa and her sister Jewel left the house with their
grandma, they got into a car and her grandma drove them to
the airport. They got their suitcases and rushed into the
airport so they wouldn't be late for their flight. They all got
inside a big plane and sat in comfortable seats. Lisa got to sit
by the window. After the plane was in the air, Lisa and her
sister enjoyed watching a movie and eating some cookies. The
stewardess offered them sodas and pretzels. They enjoyed
looking out the window and seeing fluffy clouds below.

Once the plane landed, they were in Hawaii. It was like
paradise there. Someone at the airport put leis, which are
flowered necklaces on them. The three of them went to a nice
hotel and left there suitcases in their room. They set out to see
the sites. First on their list was to go see the volcano. Lisa and
her sister wanted to see the hot lava.

Lisa, her sister, and her Grandma Rose rode in a tour bus,
along with other tourists. The bus parked near the volcano.
Lisa, Jewel, and their grandma got out of the bus and were
able to walk on the dried lava. The noise that was made by
walking on the dried lava sounded like glass breaking. It was
so hot over there that they had to wipe sweat off there faces.
