"Daisy Goes to School"

Daisy’s mom came into her room
to wake her up for the first day of school.
Daisy was very nervous because she had
never gone to school before.

Daisy went downstairs to
eat breakfast but she continued
to feel anxious about school.
Daisy was worried about making
friends and meeting her teacher.

Daisy walked slowly to the bus stop.
On the way to the bus she ran into
two of her friends and realized that they were
in her class too. This made Daisy feel better
about the day ahead of her.

When Daisy got on the school bus,
she began to feel excited about seeing
her new school. Daisy and her friends
looked out the window and waved as
they left the bus stop.

When they got off the bus, they met
their teacher, Mrs.Smith.They lined up
outside and got ready to see their classroom
for the next year. Daisy felt better already.
She was ready to learn about all of the neat
things that happen at school.

Once they got in the classroom, Mrs. Smith
assigned them seats and began to tell them
about all of the new and exciting things they
would learn that day.

Next, Daisy and her classmates learned
to read. With help from Mrs. Smith, Daisy
was able to read an entire book by herself.
This made Daisy feel good about herself.

Then it was snack time. Daisy and her new
friends gathered around the table and
Mrs.Smith handed out snacks. Daisy
realized that school was really fun and
the snacks made it even better.

After snack time, it was time for computers.
Daisy was very excited to learn new things
about computers. Daisy learned how to type
her name with help from Mrs. Smith.
