Hannah and Scarlet's parents were going on a work trip to New York so Hannah and Scarlet were going to stay with their Grandparents. Hannah loved her Grandparents because her Grandma made the best cakes and Grandpa told the best stories

Grandma and Granpa lived on a farm. They had sheep,cows, pigs, chickens and horses. Scarlet loved riding the horses and Hannah loved collecting the eggs from the chicken coop.

While the girls unpacked, Grandma cooked some yummy treats for afternoon tea. Grandma and Grandpa's house was really big and was full of stories

While they were eating Afternoon tea, Granma and Grandpa were going to tell a story.

"This is a story about the olden days" said Grandma

"Ooh, please tell us " begged the girls.

In the olden days, we had to go to the toilet in the backyard. There was a man who used to come every Saturday to empty the toilet. There were always spiders there.

brrrr... I was always scared of the spiders

In the olden days, there were no televisions. There were only radios. On the radios we listen to the Argonauts Club, Biggles and Tarzan. Mother would knit us cardigans for winter.

In the olden days, everyone used to ride on horses or in a horse and cart. There were no cars in the olden days
