This story is dedicated to my sweet, funny, kind, and lovable goddaughter, Lila.

It was 9 o'clock in the morning and time for Lila to wake up. Today was the day she was going to visit the Philadelphia Zoo to see the animals! Once Lila was awake, she ran into her Godmom's room to make sure she was up too. She climbed on the bed, with the help of her mom, and helped her Godmom make the bed before getting dressed and going downstairs for breakfast.

After breakfast, it was time head to the zoo! Lila's Godmom buckled her into her car seat, while her mom got into the car. Once everyone was in the car and buckled, they set off for the zoo.
On the short car ride there, Lila's Godmom played some of her favorite songs on the radio. They clapped and laughed as Lila tried to sing along.

When they arrived, Lila asked her mom, "Mommy, on your back?" This was Lila's way of asking her mom if she could ride in the carrier on her back. Lila's mom said, "Of course you can sweetie!" Lila's mom put her in the carrier on her back and they went into the zoo. Their first stop was to see the Reptiles and Amphilians.

While there were a large variety of animals in the Reptile and Amphibian exhibit, Lila seemed to enjoy the baby Alligators the most! Her mom said, "Lila, look at the baby Alligator! Do you see him?" Lila turned and looked in the glass exhibit, then pointed to the baby Alligator that was floating in the water. Lila's mom said, "Yes! That's the baby Alligator!"

It was then time to go visit the Tigers! Lila looked around as they walked to the Tiger exhibit. As they walked up to the first exhibit, Lila said, "Tiger! Roar!" She watched as the tiger walked around inside of the exhibit. When the big cat walked up to the glass window, she got scared and backed away from the glass, afraid that the Tiger might attack her. When it was time to go to the next exhibit, Lila's mom said, "It's time to go to the next one, say goodbye to the Tiger!" Lila looked at the Tiger and said, "Bye Tiger!"
