One night, Andy noticed that the moon was a complete circle.

Andy had an idea. He was going to make a log of every time the moon's appearance changed. He wanted to know more about each moon phase.

The next night, Andy noticed that the moon wasn't full anymore. He was curious to know what phase this was.
