I'm Annaleen Buys and I was born in South Africa. I've been an early years educator in the UK and the UAE for 25 years. I currently live in Abu Dhabi with my biggest fan, Theo (husband) and our adventurous ginger cat named Jonty! This is the first book of a series (Jonty's adventures) and it tells the story of how Jonty became part of our family. I wrote it in memory of our beloved girl cat called Tinkie, who actually "tamed" the wild ginger cat Jonty!
