Curious, he climbed back up the slide and listened again. The sound came once more—a faint, gentle noise. Tylor decided to investigate. He walked carefully toward the edge of the playground, his eyes scanning the area. But again, there was no one in sight.
Just as he was about to turn around and go back to the slide, the sound came again—this time from a different direction. He followed it, his heart racing with curiosity. As he turned the corner, he was surprised to find a girl standing there, calmly watching the trees sway in the wind.
"Hello?" Tylor said, slightly startled. "What are you doing here?"
The girl turned to him with a gentle smile. "I was just listening," she said softly. "The wind has a lot to say if you take the time to listen."
Tylor blinked in surprise. “I’ve never heard anyone say that before. I’m Tylor, by the way.”
“I’m Daisy,” she replied, her voice quiet but kind.
Tylor looked at her curiously, his fashionable jacket fluttering in the wind. “I was just thinking… five lucky kids are going to get their very own plush kittens,” he said with a grin. “I wonder if you’re the fifth one.”
Daisy smiled and closed her eyes, her calm expression never changing. “I hope I am,” she whispered to herself, a soft wish filling the air.
The next moment, something extraordinary happened. A small, soft white shape fell gently from the sky. It landed softly in Daisy’s outstretched hands. It was a plush kitten, with fluffy white fur and big, sparkling eyes.
“My name is Rei,” the kitten said with a regal voice, as though announcing himself to a royal audience. “I am a prince of a royal family from the country of love.”
Daisy blinked in surprise, but she couldn’t help but smile. She held Rei close, feeling his soft fur against her palms.
